The Tempozan Giant Ferris Wheel is one of Osaka city's two giant Ferris wheels. Unlike the HEP FIVE Ferris Wheel, the Tempozan wheels offers a view of the bat and Osaka's neighboring cities, rather than central OSaka city- you can see as far as the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge and Kansai International Airport on clear days. It reaches a height of 112.5meters, and one to the Tempozan Marketpkace, a facility with shopping entertainment, restaurants, a concert hall and movie.

Mount Tempozan

Even though it si officially recognized as a mountain, Mount Tempozan's summit only reaches a height of 4.53 meters, making it is Japan's smallest mountain, An artificial slope built in 1831, the original height of Tempozan was approximately 20 meters, and it was used as a navigational landmark for ships coming into the bust trading port. It is currently located within summit itself. If you climb to the top , the Mount Tempozan Expedition Society, based our of a cafe called Yamagoya. will issue you a certificate verifying your feat for a 100 yen fee.
